Piano | Violin | Viola

Eugene Kim was born in Virginia and grew up in a military family, which led to him living in multiple states and countries throughout his lifetime. Throughout the places he stayed, he took piano and violin lessons at the age of 8, and was exposed to the world of classical music. From then on music became a defining aspect of Eugene’s life. He has a wide array of experience ranging from baroque classical, all the way through to modern contemporary genres.

He is an instrumentalist and composer who specializes in original chamber, jazz, and orchestrations. Knowledgeable in piano, strings, brass, percussion, and traditional instruments, Eugene seeks to continue to pursue learning more instruments throughout his musical career.

Currently attending the University of Hawai’i at Manoa to pursue music, he challenges himself to explore new worlds of music and is aiming to share his new findings to the world.
